Stuck in a dream to believe!

A light wind blew over my face. I was not in my home anymore. Somewhere… dark! I ran my fingers across the walls, hoping to find a switch. However, I noticed that it felt rocky, unlike a wall. I figured out I was in a cave. At that time, I thought it was dumb of me not to know.

Anyway, the cave seemed endless. I ran and ran across the whole cave trying to find an entrance… or rather an exit. “I found it!” my brain said. It was quite an advanced door with a button to open it.  “The moon looks larger today. Clouds aren’t completely hiding it. Wait! Are those people ... ?” I don’t really know why I was talking to myself. When I ran towards the tiny black shadows, there were four different looking people. One wearing huge spectacles and an oversized orange sweatshirt with quite a long skirt and short hair. One girl was with a pretty purple dress and had her hair down. One middle-aged man who looked shabby and the fourth one perfectly dressed. I knew who they were!

“The Scooby Doo crew. Velma, Daphne, Shaggy and Fred! You are real!!  Take that mom! This is the first time I am seeing you in all three dimensions! This is so awesome!”

"Seems like you know us,” said Fred.
I didn’t really listen to him because I was too busy being in the greatest dream ever. I pinched myself so hard … and it hurt! This is not a dream! I am not in my house for real!

“This is bad… really bad!” “What’s bad?” asked Velma after checking her surroundings.
“WHAT’S wrong?! Everything is wrong. I am not supposed to be here." Daphne and Shaggy looked at me as if I was dumb.

“You’re like dumber than like me.”

“I really thought you would have been smarter after looking at your outfit.”

“Don’t you know anything about being stuck in the cartoon world? Once you enter, you can’t leave!”

I was so confused and out of words that I really looked dumb (in both ways). I was stuck with the best people I ever knew (or saw). I became upbeat about it. Only after half an hour did I remember my parents. When I told my new friends about my not so tiny problem, they laughed wholeheartedly. My parents then came out of Fred’s camper. This had been a surprise for me all along!
