 Forest Fire in the Class Human society is known for its gullibility. A person says something and the other spices up the same thing and passes it on. Then, something entirely different is fabricated. This is how a rumour spreads. When I was younger, I was rather ingenuous and believed all the ghost stories my friends would tell me. Though, now I know better. So many rumours like the existence of Bloody Mary, Annabelle and many other cursed spirits were spread across the school just like wildfire! I, being the credulous one at that time, believed in all of them and sometimes made up ludicrous ideas like sleeping with the idols of gods. One friend of mine, Ahaana, told me once that if we said “Bloody Mary” thrice, then her apparition would appear. I told a few of my friends and they told theirs and the surprise was that I wasn’t the only who believed which was quite a bolt from the blue.
